Fell asleep at 8pm-ish. Brilliant, I've been feeling exhausted lately (to the point of near-oversleeping in my car at lunch). Sleep is good. I like sleep. Sleep is where I have funky dreams and work through all those random, half-formed fic ideas or aimlessly wander the office as some disembodied wraith-type. (Yeah, I know. I have a weird head.)

Wake up around 1:15-ish.

HAVEN'T FALLEN ASLEEP AGAIN YET.

;_; I was so looking forward to actually waking up within the first 3 fists-to-the-snooze-button for once this week. Guess I'll be hitting 'snooze' right up until the last minute again. >.<

At least I haven't heard them delivering the paper yet. When I'm awake that long, I know I'm f*cked.

What is it with the commercial drivers around here???
I'm not talking the schmucks in their Beamers and Excursions and TinyDickKompensators on the way to work, I'm talking the massive semis, the big white utility vans... Aaaargh!

I've been in 3 near-accidents in the space of 2 miles of freeway, just this morning! And one, the semi, decided that once he was 2/3 of the way into MY lane, he'd 'notice' me still there, lined up with his goddamn tires. [I would like to note that, while I have sympathy for someone driving such a large and cumbersome vehicle, and gladly give them the right of way, I had nowhere to go in this case AND I'd made eye contact with the asshole in his mirrors - he could and did see me and has no excuse. *mutter*]

There is something just so... bizarre... about Michael Crawford singing "When I Fall In Love" a la Celine Dion/Sleepless in Seattle.

Because I'm picturing MC as the Broadway Phantom, not, y'know, as Michael Crawford.

It's a REALLY funny picture in my head, anyway.
