(no subject)

Woot. Got more of the garage cleaned out, and another run to the Salvation Army with clothes and whatnot that other people may actually have a use for, since we obviously don't. Put a fake dog in a doggy crate to freak out any visitors who actually pay attention to details. :-D Got a little more done on my room, but I just made a mess with clean clothes in stacks, so it's not much better. Oh well. Kimono stuff is away, at least. Figured out a (stupid but fun) name for SCA registry: Felene Gormand . [Feles = cat, Latin; Gorm = Blue, Scot-Gael. group -- I'm a dork. And a nerd. And a geek. And have a small mountain of language dictionaries to play with.] Pondering that -and ending. Sounds kinda fishy and French. Woo. [Debated 'Malakia' and see how long it took someone to know Greek, but... Nah.]

Printed out another copy of my thesis, since the laser printer works on my computer, so I could, so I did. I luff laserprinters. Haven't got a definite word from work, but that's okay. I need to still do Thank-Yous and update my resume (and probably save my unofficial transcript from Oxy's database to PDF, if only to preserve for myself the fact that it actually notes my thesis passed with distinction. Huzzah), among other things. B in the class, A- on the paper itself, not too shabby. Two other solid As for the semester. 3.66 Overall GPA. I find it aggravating that I had only 3 Bs in my entire 4 years at Oxy, and they were my lowest grades. (Seriously! If I had B+s, I woulda made Magna cum laude, not just cum laude. Grr. ) Aaaanyway. [Anyone who cares to read it, I'll get around to HTML-ing the damn thing at some point.]

Hm. Still need to do more dishes. Our dishwasher is really, really full; there's a stack waiting to be washed in the sink. Oy.
