Well, that was a waste of a lunch break and an hour's pay...
If I'm one of possibly hundreds of candidates, and you tell me that right off the bat, and you DON'T know which position I'm interviewing for?
Yeah, that's got my giveadamn busted, right there. Gave it a token shot, but I didn't bother correcting the guy's many mistakes (hey, dude, you have my resume AND the crappy handwritten app in front of you) or pushing when he avoided answering questions ["What working styles would I be assisting with? Are they social, independent...?" "They have a lot of people answering to them" is not an answer. Guh.] Of course, my response to my major of "why major in it if you don't like it? I find cultural studies fascinating" got a really, *really* weird look from him. Guess he's in the executive-or-lawyer-and-nothing-else crowd.
Ah well. The commute would probably suck more since it'd be surface streets.

And I asked my sup for work and she's run out of things to give me. o.o; I just may go nuts with the label maker in the near future, if push comes to shove - they have an entire copy room that's barely labeled! ^_^ MUWAHAHAHahahaahahah....
So yeah, if I do accept this job, I sure hope they get a faster internet connection. :) [If nothing else, it takes about 4 tries to load even the staples.com homepage.]
