Tamora - very nice, very mild. A floral with that hint of spice that I like so much. It fades quickly on me, though, but it is an awesome perfume scent. A keeper, and on the 5ml wishlist.

So.

I've decided to go perm where I am as a temp, if they'll have me. I intend to email my supervisor at some point today (though probably the end of the day, because I AM a coward at heart) and mention this fact, and ask if there are any steps I need to take with them. And then I need to call the temp agency and talk to THEM with the same questions, once I hear from my sup. (Because there's no point stirring a pot that's going to be empty, if that's the case.)

This means, assuming they keep me long-term, that I will have steady employment complete with time off/sick days for a good while, and as it is apparently less insane around here, I should be here longer than the 8 or so months it would take me to lose all patience, as with the other place. So.

Added bonus - after next month, my furniture is paid off and I'll have $200 more a month toward savings for school and a trip to Japan. So.

BPAL imps I can remember in my stash; I'll add to this later.

* Illyria - Tamora - Amber, heliotrope, golden sandalwood, peach blossom and vanilla bean.

* Bewitching Brews - Rakshasa - This haunting, exotic scent is named in honor of the shapeshifting demons from Hindu mythology. Sandalwood with rose and patchouli. [Why it smelled like citronella on me, I will never know. ]

* Wanderlust - Tintagel - According to legend, the birthplace of King Arthur. The scent of a castle,s greathall in the midst of joyous feasting. Spicy mulled wine flowing throughthe musky heat, warm leather and bright clash of armor, the dampbranches of Cornish hawthorn, blackthorn, juniper, English elm andbayberry, and the magical tingle of dragon's blood resin.

* Excolo - Coyote - The Native American Creator / Trickster God of Chaos and Change. The warmthof doeskin, dry plains grasses and soft, dusty woods warmed by amberand a downy, gentle coat of deep musk.

* Love Potions - Snake Oil - By far, our most popular scent! Magnetic, mysterious, and exceedingly sexual in nature. A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.

* Bewitching Brews - Leanan Sidhe - Mostof the Gaelic poets, down to quite recent times, have had a LeanhaunShee, for she gives inspiration to her slaves and is indeed the Gaelic muse -- this malignant fairy. Her lovers, the Gaelic poets, died young. She grew restless and carried them away to other worlds, for death doesnot destroy her power. – W.B. Yeats
The name translates to"fairy, love of my soul". A vampiric spirit and a dark muse, the love of the Leanan Sidhe is both a gift and a curse. These eerily beautiful Irish spirits drain the sanity and life force of the men they inspire to artistic greatness. Her kiss infuses a man with poetic greatness and depth of vision and feeling, otherworldly passion, and a sudden and ineffable understanding of the unending sadness that plagues mankind. Her perfume is a crush of Irish herbs and flowers, Gaelic mists, and nighttime dew.

* Excolo - Lilith - Mother of Demons, Vengeful Fury, Darkest Seductress, Queen of the Djinn,Goddess of the Gate. Red wine, myrrh, black musk, and attar of rose.

* Wanderlust - Kathmandu - The scent of sacred incense swirling up the steep slopes to SwayambhunathStupa. Saffron, blessed sandalwood, Himalayan cedar and the miraculouslotus of the Buddha with chiuri bark and Nepalese spices. [I'm pretty sure it's Kathmandu - I don't recall for sure. K-something.]

* The Zorya - Zorya - The Midnight Star: Spices of the Orient mingle with crystalline musk, midnight flowers and cereus, jasmine, primrose and vesper iris.

* Rappaccini's Garden - Mantis - Crushed herbs and sweet amber resin with a streak of patchouli, neroli and golden musk.

* Bewitching Brews - Blood Amber - Slivers of warm, pulsating blood forever crystallized in golden amber resin.

* Bewitching Brews - Fae - A brilliant, ethereal scent: white musk, bergamot, heliotrope, peach and oakmoss. [Fae did not come up on search, though I'm not sure why.]

Oh, Akuma needs to be added to the list, too. I knew I was forgetting at least one. (It would help if I did this at home with my stash, but... eh. ^_^ )

Not that I've ever had a high opinion of my shrink, but really, running 30 minutes behind (on 30 minute sessions) and TRIPLE-booking the 6pm slot? Just a leeeetle tacky, dude. Stopping between the second and third (me) bookings for that slot at 7 to spend 10 minutes checking voicemail? Double-tacky. [And if you're asking why I didn't just walk, he requires 48-hour cancellation notice, and I really don't feel like disputing any possible bills because I'll invariably use more-colorful-than-necessary language.] So no, when you start chatting about your 2 year-old's saccharine qualities, probably in an attempt to establish a familiarity or bond (who doesn't luvv the widdle schnookums...?), feel free to misinterpret my icy silence as envy. You can keep your damned toddler. It's 7:30 and I want some goddamned dinner, asshole.
