Typing this entry from my fancy-schmancy new keyboard. The slouch-effect of having my laptop at desk level and wanting to not only sit high in a chair but happen to plan on sitting up straight on a longer-than-average torso meant a trip to the office supply store(s) and the hijacking of the phone stand for the laptop/desk. Now everything is not only at the proper height for me, my desk is clearer. Huzzah for ergonomically correct keyboards and fan USB 4-port fan cooling stands. Yesh. All I have left on the office setup list is a properly art deco desk lamp that isn't glaringly bright halogen, as it's going up on a shelf.
IN other news, I went to ANOTHER agency. I'll give them credit for being wonderfully friendly and much more relaxed than previous places, and when I acknowledged that That Certain Job had the best experience but by far the worst people, they understood. At least, they seemed to.
As an added bonus, they just might have a position that pays the salary I'm looking for, and it's an executive-assistant slot. We'll see.
Still pondering whether or not to do some investigation and possibly draw up documentation on previous issues. We'll see how this thing goes.
Aaaaaaaanyway.
Oh, and oooh! Boi's carpenter friend put together a box insert for some of my imps, so now my (surviving) favorites are stored upright at all times. Mucho sweet. I shall definitely have to commission a metric butt-ton more of those. Yesh.
