So, I haven't been online in a LONG while.
Work's going well - there's still the up-and-down of my attempts to help becoming hindrances, mixed signals, and the ever-present learning curve, but I like my boss still, and presumably, she likes me. The challenge will be tomorrow, when I try to tackle the pile of stuff that has been pushed aside due to the AP nightmare that is currently swallowing the admin office alive. x.x
I lost my house key - not an emergency, as it isn't labeled in any way, but a damn pain in the ass because I'm going to have to get another one made from our spares so that we have enough. I'm certain I'll find my original the instant I get home from the hardware store. Right now, though, it's MIA. Grr.
Got myself a part-time job as a housekeeper for a house full of D&D geeks with about 6 grand in anime stacked up around their living room. My job is to clean up the downstairs area every Saturday, and get in some game time if I'm interested afterwards. They need it, they'll pay me. I'll feel safer walking around the place. I see no down side to this.
S'about all the news for me right now. I have a 3/4 sleeve superman shirt from Puppy as a present, so I'm doing well. (Still cranky about my weight, but it's the cranky of being stuck due to the gym not quite built yet up the street. I really have a yen to hop on a treadmill and walk my way through 8 gigs of ipod goodness. It'd make Tea go easier, I'm certain.)
Off to scrounge for food.
