Mar. 22nd, 2007 10:02 am*snerk* ... Man, I love the SCA.
In other news, I weighed in this morning at 169. Down 11 pounds so far. (My kimono won't fit Saturday, but still. 11 pounds is nothing to sniff at.) Which means that if I can keep this yogurt-for-lunch routine up, I just may get somewhere. Right now, my 'allowances' for the day are the equivalent of a venti coffee (2 creamer cups, 1 packet splenda) and the occasional egg- or tuna-salad sammich from the downstairs deli, if I have the dinero. No mayo, on wheat, no cheese. :P
The hardest part is drinking water. I keep adding the Crystal Light to it, just to make it marginally more interesting. (And ice, because cold is nice when you're feeling ded from staring at spreadsheets.)
So. As soon as payday hits, I'm going to Target and picking up one of those step aerobic platforms for $20-odd, and possible 2lb weights. [Given that I carry ALL OF MY EXCESS WEIGHT in my thighs alone, legwork can only be a good thing. Seriously - I can gain 20 pounds, and my waist won't expand more than a half inch. It royally sucks.] I'm starting to regret giving away my old bike, but... I wasn't 30+ pounds overweight and hadn't ridden it in 10 years when I made that decision. Bah.
I think today is going to be one of those days where I walk around the area for lunch instead of sleeping. We'll see.

In other news, I am so ridonkulously worn out from all the craziness of this stupid Ochakai on Saturday. If I'm not running around like a crazy person because of it, I'm worrying about the next time I'm going to have to run around like a crazy person because of it. Oy. [Dammit, Sensei, next time just let ME do the planning and YOU worry about getting the matcha ordered in time. Seriously - give the caterer a list of preferred foods, possible food allergies or aversions, depending on guests, something vegetarian; get a guest list together, break it down into feasible groups of 4-6, hire someone to clean your downstairs for about $30, and make a list of who has what utensils to bring/loan/whatever. ]
