Wore my new (poly) summer ro kimono and obi today, and as there was a breeze, it was surprisingly cool. I only overheated while trying to put on the obi, because it was stiff and uncooperative. Once that was on and I'd re-powdered my nose, I was fine.
Color me impressed.
I do have to take off the han-eri and pitch all the undergarments in the wash, because of sweat and so on, but still...
Pictures later - I used the timer and a railing to try and get most of the ensemble. Forgot my camera until after we'd gotten home, so Brother Mark has the only good picture of me on his fancy camera, I think.
More details later. I just thought I'd share that interesting tidbit with y'all.
