Kimono Photos are up
Feb. 28th, 2005 01:31 amI know, we took 2 of the almost-exact-same shot, but dangit, I can't tell which one came out better. So there are both.
Also, my dogs like hamsters. A lot.

ETA, now that I'm conscious and not running on 4 hours of sleep: You may note the lack of proper zori and tabi in those pics. That's because my car pedals are dirty and tabi are white, and the largest zori size they make is an LL, akin to a US size 8.5-9. I wear a 10, so those torture devices don't go on until I arrive at whatever function it is. If it means I'm the crazy white chick with her kimono hitched up past her knees while she struggles to get too-small footgear on (like yesterday; I think I was the in-house entertainment of the parking lot), so be it. [My teacher says a machine to stretch out the straps exists, but in Japan. Given the black, blue, and inflexibly painful state of my feet yesterday and this morning, that machine needs to go on a vacation in SoCal damn soon.] So, I need a length 1.5" dowel cut to about 6" long and a sock to stuff under those straps while they're in the box, I think.
(If you're kimono-savvy enough, I dare you to tell me, aside from the garish flipflops, what other detail changed among the photos. }:> Kekekeke. )
