I pretty much made this weekend my vacation (read: dead, no contact with outside world) weekend, since I won't get a break until everything is turned in the 18th. (And then I'm getting absolutely shitfaced, and y'all are welcome to join me). Translation: I was too stupid to turn my phone off before abandoning it somewhere in the bottom of my purse for the last 48 hours.

- Sections III, V - expand to text, not just outlines
- Entire paper: insert quotes where necessary/noted, proper citations
- Include section on WWII (?) as segue into Soshitsu + Modern Tea
- Re-cite Castile as Tea Culture, Tea in Japan citations (because Castile apparently sucks ass)
- pull Tanizaki quotes
- pull Dale quotes
- pull Valignano quotes; look up 'They Came To Japan', 'Hideyoshi'; if Oxy lib doesn't have it, borrow ProfP's copy?
- pull Kaempfer quotes, reorder section II
- photocopy necessary sections of Chanoyu: T.U.T., return books

Guess what I had a dream about last night/this afternoon (can't recall which)?

Maiko. Calling me to find out when we were going to hang out. Me, being confused by the cell phone call 1. because she doesn't have my cell number and 2. because we haven't spoken since she came to visit last fall.


Guess who was on campus today, taking a month off after graduating from Waseda last month? Maiko.

In other news, I need a newer photo of me doing something stupid for the camera. (This one is from August of last year, and my hair's about 4" longer now. And my eyebrows are shaped better. And I want new pics, anyway, because I'm a dork like that.) Maybe I'll go dig up my leopard print hat and a buddy with a digicam and mug for stupid shots in May. Hell, maybe someone with a digicam next Monday night when I'm absolutely shitfaced by 1 am. (Due at midnight, I hear.)

Woot. I like that hat; i'll have to bring it from home sometime.
