May. 6th, 2005 11:41 amOne down. Took 2.5 of the 3 hours allowed, I think I managed a pretty clear final essay (heaviest points overall, anyway, so here's hoping). Had trouble on the definitions, but half of the ones we could pick from were stuff I don't even recall him mentioning in class, at least by name. If there was something called "quyting," well... Huh. No idea. Haaaate Middle English. Haaaate. (Sadly, Chaucer, once explained, is fucking awesome, but owch, the language.)
4-5 page essay and that other (very late) final left; the essay I think will be kinda craptacular, because it's a) short enough to b.s., and b) that final's worth more, undoubtedly. Also, typing is fundamentally easier to do, and as the final is now due by email, well... yeah. It won't take nearly as long. So. Chaucer prof also said emailing him the (very, very, VERY tardy) essay tonight was okay, but I just need to edit and works-cite that one, which
lord_sojourn and company will be helping with, if I can tackle them and carry them off long enough to do so.
But first, SLEEP. Because I didn't get NEARLY enough, and I'm sick all over again after one (ONE!!) good day Wednesday.
Wake me at 2pm. *thud*
