LJ has been ridonculously slow the last few days. :(
And my jaw hurts. Well, my teeth and jawbones, really. I've found that in trying to manage my stress like a Grown-Up Person, it's manifested itself in clenched teeth rather than tantrums. Joy. I feel like I've got braces all over again. ;_; [And we'll just casually sidestep the sad fact that I may need them again, due to my ever-lackluster convictions on What Is Good For Me, especially in the cosmetic realm. Folks, wear your retainers regularly. They're there for a reason, dammit. I'll be lucky if I can get mine on anymore.]

Naamah, uhm. I would like to extend my pathetic apologies for two reasons: One, I finally found a box to send your stuff, but the drawings will have to go separate because it's not big enough for the Bristol, only the lil' (badly painted) box. I'm just S-M-R-T like that. Two, I FINALLY got up the mental gumption to do more than skim the opening chapters of Kushiel's Dart. Much luff, and I dug outthe other two books. Fweedle.
I want me a pet Jocelin, but all I can do is picture Legolas. I do believe I'm damaged. o.O::: Hm.

Mom splurged on an embroidery machine, and we're (unevenly) splitting the bill for a new serger. Which I cannot get threaded for a 4-thread overlock for the effing LIFE of me. I've tried it multiple times, each time following the directions in the book SUPER-carefully, and it just ain't catching that fourth thread. So. Once we learn how to use the blasted things, much in the way of crafty fabric goodness should be forthcoming. [Brimmins, this includes the goodies you brought me. Don't think I won't be figuring something spiff out of that!]
I so very much want that blasted serger to work. I just may accept that it does three threads only for now and try my hand that way, if only to get projects going that have been sitting far too long and left people besides myself in the lurch on their completion.

And that's all for now. My brain is melted and I'm off to bed.
