So, Christmas was nice. And I really do mean that - nice. Normally, the holidays mean at least one screaming fight with Mom and other dramatics. We didn't have that this time, things went smoothly, and it was a small gathering so that even though there was cooking involved (often part and parcel with the screaming fights), it was nice. Even a drawer breaking was more of a 'well crap' moment than the fight it normally would have been.
I also got more prezzies than I thought I would. o.O:: ^__^ Not that I mind, of course. lord_sojourn found some kickass garnet earrings to replace the ones I lost a while back (and still can't find, because whatever 'safe place' I put 'em in... is a little TOO safe) and managed to match the color PERFECTLY. o.O: He's never seen the necklace, folks. That's called damn skilled, man. Mom got me amythest earrings, to match the amythest set I have of necklace/ring and replace the earrings that were part of the set (i didn't lose those, actually, but they were very pale, and the new ones are darker and match better). So my two 'Good' sets of jewelry are whole again. Fwee! I also got a kickass jewelry box to put things in, so I won't lose them anymore... yesh. :) And comic books and chopsticks. Huzzah. ^_____^ Lord_sojourn's dad is a Cool Dude. :D
From my boss at work, I got $30 to Victoria's Secret. Either she's trying to tell me something (wear a real bra, dammit) or it's just the girly thought that counts - she knows I like scented lotions, after all. Hm.
Mom also gave me dinero, after I mentioned buying myself work clothes (sweaters, camisoles to layer since mine are old and falling apart, etc). :) Yeyness.

Now, off to plot the rest of the day, since I slept in so dang much. I have tea tonight, and I was going to wash a certain someone's car, but... hm. We'll see.
