Almost Christmas

My grand plan not to spend too much money this year bit me in the ass, but really, it's Christmas. So eh. I'll worry about money starting January 15th's payday. Until then, I'll do my best to leave my Visa in my wallet and just enjoy the holidays.

khlara, and it was walking distance, too. Something I really should do more often - the stores with the shittiest lots are only a block and a half away from the house, so why bother driving, yanno? (Short of picking up something large and awkward, obviously.) I shouldn't have ordered as much as I did (the extra rolls and the cocktails... too much), but even with the splurge in the bill, it was a good time. So... yeah.
Andkhlara got me a goodie for my inner gamer geek (I bought her a drink - don't think there won't be some sort of add-on later, 'Zona!), so I'm having a grand old time right now reading. I've also taken to wearing my d20 necklace again. Fwee.
All quiet here otherwise. Got all but one present wrapped (and I'm still puzzled as to which one it is that needs wrapping). I'll have to pin Mom down for an answer on that one later. Ah well. [We bought each other sweaters, but I can't remember which one was mine to give her, because we're now about the same shirt size on many things. Oops.]
