My computer is buggy.
Well, iTunes is buggy - I've had to force-quit and hold-down-the-power-button-to-reboot three times now. This is, as far as I can recall, a new problem.
Dammit. This is a new problem. Can one rebuild the desktop in OS X the way one does in Classic? I'm thinking that might do some good. I'm on 10.3.9 if that helps. But right now, I have no shuffle that I can take to work with me on Monday, and that makes kitty a sad panda indeed. (iTunes freezing up is annoying too, but it will, oddly enough, keep playing music from the library even when the application is not responding. Go figure.)
[And yes, when I have Real Money, I'll buy a new computer, so let's not beat that dead horse with that suggestion, mmmkay?]
[ETA: Fixed - apparently, the software update fixed whatever-it-was that was the problem. (Not that the mystery problem's miraculous disappearance is very reassurring, but... I'll take what I can get.) ]
