Happy 2009!

wakeiseiyoI spent the day in my (hitoe - ssh!) pink-polka-dots-on-red kimono and the new hanhaba obi Mom bought me for Christmas (silver with black flowers and butterflies on one side, pink on the other, all washable cotton or polyester from the undies up) and generally feeling the pretty-pretty-princess vibe. (I had sparkly pink tabi to complete the outfit but was too lazy to put 'em on... I don't know why they feel like more work than any normal knit socks - they're all the same amount of work. Whatever.)

tsuji_kiri*) came down to spend yesterday afternoon and just about all of today with me, so I am feelin' pretty darn special. :) (Also, PINK d10s!!!) [New Year's Resolution: try not to be QUITE so clingy with people I'm enjoying the company of. I was probably more than a little irritating at times. Sorry.]
I'd say it's a good omen for the New Year.
I still have some crafty things to do, and a late holiday present to finish, but right now, I'm SO sleepy and yet my brain is still whirring about at ninety miles an hour. I just may sprawl on the bed and see if I can't nod off. *shrug*
No work tomorrow! Whee! (Now I just have to figure out why my knuckle is hurting but shows no sign of cuts, bruises, or burns. o.O)
