Sep. 22nd, 2006 10:45 amI am having WAY too much fun adding onto my Neohome. (Though I really hate the garden function - the way it's laid out with that horizon effect is annoying. Bah.) So far I've got not only functional rooms, I've added a spare game room, guest bedroom, and tea room. I will shortly own all the dried bamboo rugs in Neopia, laying the floor for that tea room. o.O: (And dammit, tatami is expensive! 70K nP for that... grr.)
[And is it just me, or when you look at other homes, nothing shows up but a bland brown shell of a room? No furniture, no styles of building materials...?]

Sep. 22nd, 2006 03:48 pmOkay, silly question BUT --
Why does everyone around here think I'm either a) not at all native or b) European? [Whereas I go to Japan and I'm half Japanese...?]
I guess dark hair and pale(!) skin really just throws folks for a loop. Especially since I'm out during the day an' all. Maybe they think I'm a fortified Transylvanian? Go figure.
Seriously people - I'm a very Caucasian mutt and about 9th generation American. There is NOTHING special about me. Nothing. o.o:: Hell, I don't even have *pretty* pale skin - it's covered in freckles, moles, scars, pockmarks and other unpleasant markings. It's the unhealthy pale of never being outside, not the porcelain pallor some people are lucky to have. Bah.

Ah, eBay. The adventures of auctions online, and those who do suspicious shit to turn a buck. [Yes, my life is dull enough that this is amusingly diverting to me.]
(Bold emphasis mine; contact info and all those annoying >>>s from the message edited out. All else is as-is.)
( Hm. My life is dull enough that this is interesting to me. Ah well. )
I wonder if I'll hear from them again. . .
