The joy of cavities is that when they are BETWEEN your teeth, the dentist uses a nice, big WEDGE to pry those teeth apart. That kind of pain cuts right through the three shots of Novacaine. Whee. The whole side of my head aches, now. :(


Need to call up another temp agency, as I haven't heard a damn thing yet. *muttergrumble* Which means I need to tell 'em my bottom line is lower on the pay scale, too, if it'll get me a job. Any job.

Huh.

Well, with the Novacaine having worn off, I've got 600mg of ibuprofen combatting the obnoxious tenderness on the right side of my mouth. That drill went through gum tissue, dammit. OW! (Having to keep my mouth pried wide open for nearly 2 hours was not really icing on the cake. Rrrgh.)

Ah well. Organic green tea and steamed red bean buns do much to soothe the soul, even if it does hurt to open my mouth more'n half an inch.


Off to brush my teeth again (haaaate the sensation of new fillings! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!) and take a nap. I've just spent 2 hours spamming all the available 'apply now' positions I found on monster.com. Joy.
