Lj withdrawal... aaaaaaaaagh.
Nov. 4th, 2006 08:18 pmYeah.
So, today, I spent $25 and a 2 hour wait getting the tire flat fixed - damn screws. I should have saved it as a souvenir. Anyhoo, I'm good to go up to LA tomorrow a.m. (I really don't want to, even though it IS tea. Go figure.)
Spent the rest of the afternoon asleep or hitting the snooze button (I was going to only sleep an hour, but was too damn tired). Finally hauled my butt out of bed around 6ish, and have since made pasta for dinner(s) and a batch of honey-cornbread muffins that are really sticking to the wrappers. Wah. At least the pan didn't have to be greased, which is one less dish to do.
Tomorrow morning, I get to try and remember how in heck to tie an o-taiko [Nagoya] obi, because it has been SO LONG since I've worn kimono. 6 or 8 months, at least. Gawd, I am out of practice. I sure hope there's a meddlesome Japanese obachan to fix mine when I get there.
Fed the dogs, watered the plants... I think I'm about ready to go back to bed again. o.o;
