Feb. 13th, 2007 12:03 pmGah. I officially understand all those posts in the CF comms about babyrabies coworkers. This place is a BREEDING GROUND, if you listen to any of the conversations. I guess they give awesome benefits for so-so educational backgrounds and job descriptions. [That said, I'm not snubbing my nose one damn bit at my paychecks. Though I'd like to have the option of benefits. Damn temp-ness.] Per one co-worker, "This place is a great place to work for women," emphasis mine. I'm not sure just what she meant by that, but I've already heard too darn much about the need for a midday 'pump', so I think it's the whole woman = walking uterus mentality. (Sad, since most of my coworkers are my age, which is pretty damn young when you think about it.)

... In other news, I can set LJ icons as backgrounds, but NOTHING ELSE. o.O:: weird.
[EDIT: I can set anything RSS-fed as a background, because it parses as code, not images. Spiff.]

And oddly enough, a whole wheat English muffin, lightly toasted, with nothing but a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (in place of butter - Mom went to Wild Oats yesterday) has kept me pretty darn satisfied since breakfast, if you make a side note of the coffee(s). I just may lose a few pounds yet. Brought yogurt for lunch, too. ^_^
