Oof.

So, since Harvest was cancelled, my grand plan to go buy a cheapo folding wood chair at Ikea was altered accordingly. I now have a seat cushion (I plan on devising a cover for it) and I bought a handful of the hanging storage shelves for my oddball SCA stuff. Now all my not-hangar-friendly garb has a home. I even found the drawers that go in the hanging shelves, so my belts and whatnot are all set as well. It's pretty sweet. :D

(Now, if I could just remember whatinhell I did with a ton of the stuff I brought back with me, like the belt pouch and favor for next year. I have NO CLUE where I put it. o.O: )


Spent more than I should, but that's never breaking news.

Also, Cost Plus has so goddamned much nice stuff that would work for SCA events/gifts/etc. [Seriously, most awesome Yule presents ever would be cast iron napkin rings and linen napkins, or a set of period-esque utensils, yadda yadda.]

Okay. If you like funny songs, I really recommend picking up a copy of The Whiskey Bard's "Bottoms Up".


I really recommend Enormous P**** and Another Irish Drinking Song, and Deformed Farm. (Libido Man is really good SCA filk, but the original song title escapes me.)
