wakeiseiyo(Yes, I realize that being preggo is a Big Deal, especially if it's your first one. That said...)
At least the folks around me don't go oohing, cooing, and mooing over the sproglet someone else brought in. Their response to some kid's audible whining? "I hear a CHILD." And not with a :D about it, either. [Sadly, should I chime in with, 'so let's hunt it down and kill it for food! :D:D:D' I think it would not go over well. Darn. ;P]
I know, I'm on this crazy CF rant-mode right now. It'll pass, really. I'm just still mad at being stuck SURROUNDED by people who won't stop talking about their kids while at work. [Double-suck is that the cube I'm in is plastered with photos of other people's children, and I'm not really allowed to change anything. I have taken the liberty of moving them all out of my direct line of sight, but... Guh. Of course, I tend to not find most people's PETS cute, either, when the photos are everywhere. I'll take puppies over the Anne Geddes fanwanker a few cubes over, though. o.o:: She has Anne Geddes plushies lining the top.]
